It was a nice and calm night and everything was going as scheduled at the Crimson Tower, the central hub of all operations of Meteor Tech. All the robots were shutting down in their designated areas after a long day of work at the facility. It was then when there was a great flash of light illuminated the sky, as a comet-like sphere made its descense to the ground. Just when it was about to hit the tower, the meteor came into a halt, and then let itself fall as gently as a leaf to the floor. He was running away. He could not outrun him, but he could distract him long enough for Aaura to start the plane for their escape. Aiden lured him into the forest, hoping to buy her more time. He knew that Kneive would catch him soon. He could hear Kneive's sword cutting down the trees that stood on his way with a single slash. That could be him any moment...

Jet slammed the door behind him when leaving the room. Wave continued running test on the meteor, hoping to understand how it worked.
- Why is the boss so angry? - asked Storm. He had watched in silence as Jet and Wave argued about what to do with the stone.

MeteorTech was known for relying heavily in mechanized premises, often guarded by a considerable force of robots. This one, seemed to be the exception. Sonic and company found nothing but scrap metal along the first hallways, although this didn't give them the confidence to remain calm. They kept going quietly, staying out of the surveillance cameras' vision.
The hallway leaded them to the factory itself, where hundreds of robots were assembled. They cowered behind the great doors that guarded the entrance, looking for any sign of robot activity.
- It looks safe enough... - said Sonic, breaking the silence.

- C'mon! This way! - exclaimed Aiden the Hedgehog, directing the group.
The way was a thin corridor that forced them to go one by one. The ceiling was so low that Edgar, the heavy-weapons bear, was having trouble trying to squeeze through it.
- Are we even sure they have... that thing could be here?? - asked the bear, clearly annoyed.
- The Dominion never misses a chance to show off its new toys. Yet they decided to get all secrets and hush-hush with this particular thing? - said Aiden, turning to look at him. - Not to mention they brought this "project" of theirs right from the ARK. Honestly,
