Some time ago I had a class at the university about restoring old books. Then I've sterted to thinking about making my own and after a few months from an initial idea, here's the first result. A wolfbook!
I've made a scetchbook as well, have to fihish it today
It's made as a Beltaine gift, I can't wait 'till tomorrow to see how it gonna be seen
Everything is made from scratches - it's NOT a decorated ready notebook, I've cut every single sheet of paper, sewed them together [with blue matchig thread], glued and made the cover from scratches too. It's took me like forever to do the inner covers...
The patterns on the leather are burned, it has a gaelic text on the backcover.
My, it was lots and lots of work but I like the outcome a lot
16x13cm, 106 grid paper sheets, leather cover, satin ribbon, blue colour paper [decorated with Derwent Metallic Silver coloured pencil, Faber-Castell White coloured pencil, Derwent Onyx Dark pencil, Faber-Castell Ecco Pigment liner].
