Contributing ART

We are a group for dark/twisted Fairy Tale Art , mostly focused on the classic fairy tales like the grimm ones but we are also open to your own ideas. If you want to submit Artwork to our group click to "submit Art" and please take care at certain criterias :meow:

:bulletpurple: Please make sure that the Dev. you want to contribute does not only contain dark elements but ALSO fairy tale ones General fantasy elements are not the same as fairytale ones and in this group we focus on the typical fairytale ones and on Art that has a fairytale background.


:bulletpurple: If your relation to a fairytale is neither mentioned in the title nor the description please leave the admin a short message about your ideas. It would be a pity if your Deviation get declined because of that.

:bulletpurple: Fairytale elements are sometimes difficult to distinguish and if you are unsure just leave a message to the admin. I always check the pictures/poems myself and I contact the artist before declining something.

A Beautiful Friendship Begins

   Like my mother, I almost always kept my wings tucked away.  They were somewhat weak from lack of use.  Not so with my legs.  Since I ran or walked almost everywhere I went, my legs were strong and quick.  I’d never raced anyone, but would bet good money I could outrun anyone in the kingdom, man or woman.  So I ran back to the dance, a little thrill traveling through me for being able to do something for this mysterious stranger.  For being able to do something for anyone, really.
   Everyone at dances always treated me as invisible.  Instead of hurting my feelings, it came in useful for once.  I wouldn’t have to explain to anyone where I was taking all the food.  I also grabbed Lumenovus a seed husk full of wine.
   When I returned to him I was red-faced and out of breath, bearing a small feast.
   “Did you run?” he asked in di

Midas, Ashlyn and Snow stood before a huge ship. The title was The Queen Mary. Midas grabbed his son's statue-d body up the stairs of the ship and the two woman followed behind. Snow held Smurgle tightly in her arms. Ashlyn turned to Snow, "I promise you, we will save Smurgle's life." Snow smiled and then sat down on a barrel. "So are you sure we'll get their safely?" Ashlyn asked Midas. "Of course, if I know anything, is that the seas are our friends." Midas smiled looking out to the wide open sea. He turned around and went down into the ships haul where he placed his son's body. "I trust him." Snow said. Ashlyn turned around and sat next her. "I know, I do too but.. this place, it seems no one ever get's a happy ending." Ashlyn said. "I know how you feel, I thought when my mom died and the queen took over my kingdom and my life that..that I would never find happiness again. But believing is key." Snow explained. "Are you sure?"    I wandered to where I couldn’t hear the music any longer, and had only the night breeze and crickets for company.  Even on festival nights, this was my only enjoyment.  Maybe I was ugly and undesirable, but nature was still beautiful.  The crickets would never call me a freak, the breeze wouldn’t skip over me and find someone else’s cheeks to caress.
   I looked at the moon hanging over the distant peaks of the palace, and wondered what mysteries lay beyond my father’s kingdom.  There has to be more to life than this, I thought.  What do people do out there, in other kingdoms and the wilderness?  How do they find love?  As I thought about the outside world, I suddenly thought of that poor stranger Bolton and Simon had brought.

As I stood their in fear, I couldn't remember a time when I was so scared in my life. I mean how would I deal with a dragon, a gold one for that. All I knew was that it was my life.
"What the heck is that?!" Ashlyn exclaimed. "I-i I don't know?" Snow stuttered. The Dragon came down for a bite and the two woman crashed into the walls. "Hey! Don't wreck my palace." The Evil Queen said walking out from behind the golden dragon's feet. Ashlyn opened her eyes to see the Queen and the dragon's face. They were both staring at her while she was on the ground. She looked to the side and saw Snow unconscious. "Wh-what is this?" She gasped. The queen chuckled, "Meet the golden dragon of King Midas." The queen smirked, "Welcome to Enchanta darling." The Queen laughed menacingly and disappeared in her haze of purple smoke. Ashlyn turned to Snow and back to the dragon. She saw his eyes following her every movement. She secretly bumped Snow's body to wake her up. She wasn't awakening at all. "

Prince Charming wasn't a prince to start with. He was an accident caused by two young lovers. Not wanting to be accused of adultery, the abandoned him in the woods near a cave of wolves hoping not to be charged with adultery. Luckily, a kindly enchantress named Mildred rescued the boy and brainwashed the kingdom into thinking he was the prince. For a while, things were fine...till he got hmself in a screw up.

I guess you recognized  that our group was not running really good in the last time cause of my personal time issues. So I'm very grateful that this two girls will help me and they have great ideas so be surprised ;)
