Description
It's been a while since I've drawn anything Invader Zim-related, right? I've been wanting to show you my other fan species for a while now, because I've really accumulated a lot of ideas. I love sci-fi and all that stuff, so I described these guys quite extensively, trying to present everything well. I hope it turned out well and you'll like them! <3
By the way, unlike most of my recent drawings, I decided to make this one a little simpler (meaning the lines aren't as clean, hehe)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- IRKENOIDS -
"There are two skies within me: one remembers the stars, the other a human windows with warm light. And I still search for a place where they will not be at odds"
- Astaria Novo, the Irkenoids leader -
- Appearance:
• They are hybrids between Irkens and human beings (earthlings, terrarians and stellarians)
• Their appearance varies depending on their genetic makeup, but they often have Irken-like green skin and antennae, along with human-like eyes and hair
• Most also lack an Irken PAK; most are born without one and can function successfully without it
- Abilities:
• It depends on genetics, some may get abilities from their more capable and powerful parents
- Weakness:
• It depends on genetics; some people may be allergic to water, while others may not. It's the same with germs and everything else
- Weapons:
• Irken PAK - some of them have a PAK, which they often use for self-defense
• Otherwise, they use whatever they can find as weapons, which can be weapons of other alien races
"We are the children of disaster. And yet, for some reason, a desire to save, not to destroy, has grown within us"
- Astaria Novo, the Irkenoids leader -
- Rulers:
• They don't have their own rulers as such; most of them obey the planet they're on. However, the most influential of them is Astaria Novo, the daughter of terrarian Dr. Albertum Novo and an Irken female. So she's basically their leader
- Origin:
• The first Irkenoids began appearing several thousand years ago, during the heyday of the Star Nation. There were numerous instances of unions between Irkens and Stellarians, leading to the emergence of the first hybrids, the Irkenoids
Later, when the planet Terra-002 was not yet the ice planet Cryo-000, unions between Irkens and Terrarians began to emerge, leading to the birth of Astaria Novo, who is now known as the inspiring leader of the Irkenoids
In the mid-twentieth century, hybrids between Irkens and earthlings began to appear. There is speculation that the Irkens formed alliances with earthling astronauts, which led to the emergence of another species of Irkenoids
"Someday a child will see me and not be afraid. For such a future, the present is worth enduring"
- Astaria Novo, the Irkenoids leader -
- Current Time:
• Some Irkenoids are located on various planets, while the rest are on the planet Foodcortia, along with their current leader, Astaria Novo. They are working there and, gradually and secretly, are plotting to overthrow the Irken government
- Relationships:
• Irken Empire - They are both allies and enemies to them, but more enemies, as the Irkens don't accept them as true members and consider them freaks. The Irkenoids, in turn, harbor hostility toward most of them; some even want to overthrow their leaders to "end their tyranny once and for all," but so far no one has succeeded. However, no one is saying it's impossible.
• Star Nation (Stellarians) - Despite their past connections, they are enemies now, as the Stellarians consider themselves superior to others, the most intelligent race in the universe, and generally "the future." Therefore, the Irkenoids will feel hostility towards him for their arrogance and selfishness.
• Terra-002 (Terrarians, now Cryo-000) - The Irkenoids had a more positive relationship with them, but when Terra-002 turned into Cryo-000, they began to avoid the planet, as it had become a true nightmare. They don't have the warmest relationship with Stellarus Halid, the planet's last native inhabitant, but their relationship is rather neutral. But since Astaria Novo is half Terrarian, like Stellarus himself, he can even help them to some extent when she asks
• Earth - They are both allies and enemies, depending on who they encounter there. Some humans are willing to help them, but others consider them a threat. Therefore, the Irkenoids' opinions on Earth are extremely contradictory
- DREJ -
"The one who trembles before us today will not dare betray us tomorrow"
- Queen Jaxara, the Drej leader -
- Appearance:
• The body is blue, some parts, such as the arms, legs, and abdomen, are translucent, and bones, organs, veins, and electrical discharges are visible through them
• Their legs are digitigrade without any toes, which allows them to run quickly
• They have a single lightning-shaped antenna, which is combed either forward or backward. It serves as a conductor of electricity for the Drej, and they can also use it as a weapon (like a whip)
• Each has bright azure eyes that glow. When angry or under strong emotion, their pupils appear white; otherwise, they are absent
- Abilities:
• High Intelligence - They have extremely high intelligence, even higher than the Irkens. This allows them to create extremely powerful and effective inventions, and also to make cunning plans to take over planets
• Electrokinesis - They control electricity and the ways to generate it. But they expend a lot of energy and effort on this, so they often need a break. Therefore, they try to use electricity from external sources
• Electro Teleportation - They are able to transform into electricity and thus be able to move through electrical devices
• Water Electricity Transfer - They can transmit electricity through small bodies of water, such as puddles
- Weakness:
• Transparent Body Parts - These body parts are very delicate and weak, so they can be easily injured in these parts, but it is unlikely that the Drej will let you do this so easily, given their speed and agility
• Stairs - One of their weaknesses is stairs and steps, as their architecture is not designed to accommodate them. They simply don't know how to climb up and down such structures, so they can often get stuck. It's also a good way to escape them, as they're unlikely to risk following you up the stairs
• Electricity Overload - They can be defeated by throwing them into a large amount of water. The liquid will spark violently upon impact, overloading the Drej and causing their Electric Power Unit on their backs to explode, at best, rendering them incapacitated. At worst, it will kill them
• Lack of Electricity - They become extremely weak without external sources of electricity
• Air of Other Planets - The Drej are convinced that the air of every planet except their own is poisonous to them, so they wear masks at all times. If you rip off this mask, they will begin to "suffocate," giving you a chance to kill them or simply buying you time until they realize the air isn't actually poisonous. Although it's worth noting that the air on some planets is indeed poisonous.
- Weapons:
• Spears - Powerful and sharp spears that deliver electricity
• Tridents - It can be used as a melee weapon or as a ranged weapon (shooting T-Energy clusters or lightning)
• Two-bladed Swords - This weapon is used by more elite warriors, it requires more skill and for good reason, because warriors who wield this weapon are extremely dangerous
• Claws - Wear gloves with sharp claws
• Antennae - It can be used as a whip and is also capable of shocking victims with electricity
• T-Energy Cannon - An extremely powerful cannon capable of destroying planets using T-Energy, which the Drej have learned to artificially create. The blast and beams from the cannon can also impact neighboring planets, causing mutations
"A conquered world brings resources. A fearful world brings stability"
- Queen Jaxara, the Drej leader -
- Rulers:
• Queen Jaxara - Cruel, domineering, maniacal, sadistic, stubborn, determined, merciless, and bloodthirsty. She is a skilled fighter and leader who will do anything to achieve her goals. She confidently leads the Drej to victory, using all her intelligence and critical thinking
• Prince Thundrax - Apathetic, he has absolutely no interest in conquering other planets like his mother. He prefers listening to music or simply scrolling the internet
- Origin:
• They were originally microorganisms on the planet Shira. But one day, an explosion occurred on the planet, and T-Energy poured out from the very core, mutating everything on impact, including the Drej. The T-Energy had the greatest effect on them, transforming them into intelligent beings and significantly increasing their growth. Thus, the Drej began to colonize their home planet, rapidly developing, depleting their planet's resources. Soon, when the planet was almost depleted of resources, they decided to seek out other planets to conquer and exploit, as well as exploit the tribal races for their own nefarious purposes
This led to a clash with the Irken Empire, and consequently, competition. The two races began a fierce struggle to see who could conquer the largest and most powerful planets. The Drej have never been inferior to the Irkens in strength and are always ready to fight them
"Submission is the wisdom that the weak call slavery"
- Queen Jaxara, the Drej leader -
- Current Time:
• They have captured numerous planets from which they obtain resources and are in competition with the Irkens. The Drej plan to enslave them as well, which they aim to achieve
- Relationships:
• Irken Empire - Their worst enemies, with whom they constantly compete. The Drej want to become more powerful than them and one day enslave them too. They feel contempt for the Irkens, some even anger and genuine hatred
• Humans - For the Drej, they're just another planet to conquer, but humans were able to fight them off, and now the Drej want to conquer even more, but they can't, given how vast the planet is in terms of species. For most Earthlings, the Drej are enemies
- YUUX'ORS -
"There is knowledge that is worth preserving not with gold, but with life"
- Sular Ih-Fithus, the Yuux'ors leader -
- Appearance:
• They have three main eyes and three pairs on the sides of their heads
• They have tentacles on their heads, which serve as hair for them
• They have special antennae that can heal. Titan has three pairs of them
• They have thin insect-like wings
• Have a subtle and thin body
- Abilities:
• Vitakinesis - They are able to heal any living being and even resurrect
• Creation - Thanks to their skills, they are able to create new life forms
- Weakness:
• Non-Hostility - They are not inherently hostile and will never resolve problems through violence and war. Therefore, they don't consider it necessary to create extensive defenses and weapons, which was one of the reasons for their complete destruction. If they had been less diplomatic and had more weapons, they might have been able to repel the invaders
- Weapons:
• They didn't have any weapons as such, now only Titan has some guns installed on it for self-defense
"Better a dead civilization than a living memory in the hands of monsters"
- Sular Ih-Fithus, the Yuux'ors leader -
- Rulers:
• At the moment there no any ruler
- Origin:
• An ancient alien race that lived on the planet Sur until the Irkens arrived. They were renowned for their unrivaled intelligence and bio-engineering skills; they could easily create new species, heal, and give life to others. This was precisely what prompted the Irkens to attack; they wanted to acquire this knowledge and abilities to use them for future war. But the Yuux'ors were no fools. They created a great semi-biological robot, Titan, and imbued it with all their knowledge and skills. They sacrificed everything they had and hid it all deep underground so that Titan would store all the knowledge and skills they had accumulated over many centuries. They went to battle the Irkens, knowing they would not retreat until they reached them, and lost miserably. The Irkens destroyed them all, never finding Titan or anything else
"They call us a vanished race. But the truth is, we did it on purpose"
- Sular Ih-Fithus, the Yuux'ors leader -
- Current Time:
• The only survivor is Titan, who was found by chance by humans led by Dib Membrane when their ship crashed and landed on the planet Sur
Titan now resides on Earth in the Membrane Corporation's Protectorate, where scientists look after them, including Gerald Atomstein, with whom Titan has become very close. Titan often helps earthlings improve their planet, healing nature and creating new life
- Relationships:
• Irken Empire - These are his number one enemies, they destroyed his race and home, and now they want to take it for themselves to use for their own purposes. He will hate them and never forgive them for what they did
• Earth - Their only allies and saviors, they found and rescued Titan and now keep him under protection on their planet. The Earthlings value him greatly and care for him
- Irkenoids - He doesn't hate them, and even helps them, because they are united by a common enemy - the Irken Empire
- The Drej - They, like the Irkens, are hunting him and want to have him for themselves. Unlike the Irkens, they haven't attacked his race, but he dislikes them just as much
- TUNDROWICKS -
"Christmas is when even a snowstorm knocks on the door as a guest, not as an enemy"
- King Yogun, Tundrowicks leader -
- Appearance:
• Large creatures, almost entirely covered in white fur, which keeps them warm
• They have hunched backs on which small mountains grow
- They have thick and sharp claws
- Blue eyes without pupils. They have two tusks in their mouth with blunt ends that stick out from the outside
- They have long white hair, often braided or tied into ponytails
- They have a medium-length tail, which is quite powerful
- Abilities:
• They don't have any supernatural abilities as such. It's only known that they can be as ferocious as bears and even make bear-like sounds
- Weakness:
• Heat - they get very sick in places with high temperatures, considering the type of fur they have
- Weapons:
• Powerful and heavy clubs, hammers and other heavy weapons - they use only something strong, heavy and powerful, because other types of weapons simply break from their strength
• Claws - They have thick and sharp claws that can inflict serious wounds, and if they are enraged, they can even kill by tearing into pieces
"A gift without warmth is just an object"
- King Yogun, Tundrowicks leader -
- Rulers:
• King Yogun - An extremely cheerful old man, he loves to throw parties and feasts, joke, and have fun. But he can also be short-tempered and not without authority, as he can easily punish those who disobey
• Princess Lou - Unlike her father, Lou has a more realistic outlook on the world and is more serious, but she has a kind heart and soul. She is always happy to welcome new guests and is hospitable
- Origin:
• They were a mindless race on the snowy planet Tundra, but gradually evolved and became sentient by the beginning of the fourth century. They were the ones who created Christmas and even wanted to bring their holiday to beings from other planets. They built a spaceship from the wreckage of others found on the planet, and some of the Tundrowicks set off on a journey to other planets. But their ship crashed and landed on planet Earth, with no survivors. Their ship was soon discovered by the Romans, who, having discovered the song "Christmas," decided to appropriate the holiday for themselves. Thus, Christmas came to planet Earth
The Tundrowicks, having never seen their fellows again, assumed they had found a new home and made no attempt to find them. Ultimately, they simply settled into a peaceful existence on their planet, no longer attempting to venture into space
"Our anger is like an avalanche: it sleeps for a long time, but knows no pity when it awakens"
- King Yogun, Tundrowicks leader -
- Current Time:
• They live peacefully on their planet and sometimes deal with the Apocalyptoids
- Relationships:
• Apocalyptoids - their fiery neighbors, the Tundrowicks themselves, do not feel any hostility towards them, but always try to be careful and polite with them, so as not to cause unnecessary arguments
• Earth - They have one thing in common, and that's Christmas, so the Tundrowicks are always happy to welcome them to their planet. They generally try to be friendly and nice to any races that come to their planet
