I am a man, and I am not sorry I like stockings.  And there is nothing to "get" in this picture except the gift of beauty that she shares with us.  What are the stars in the clear night sky trying to "get"?  Nothing; instead, they give of their beauty, with no other reason needed.  Same here.  A woman in stockings is beautiful by definition and demonstration, and no other justification is needed.  I learned this when I was a boy, and this assertion has never failed me yet.
