I got this cute tiger in Casablanca, Morocco. It did quite a lot of searching for stuffed animals in Morocco while I was there. Morocco though has very little in the way of any plush. I think a lot of that is because Morocco is a poor country and buying a stuffed animal is one of those discretionary purchases that very few people there have the money for. This one I bought at Joupi, one of the few toy stores in Casablanca. He cost 490 Moroccan Dirhams which is about US$56 or €44. Many people in Morocco earn around $200-$400 per month, so this tiger cost the same as a week to two weeks of wages for the majority of population. The store actually had a guard by the door to keep out the beggars and the people who look undesirable. Morocco is a very interesting place to visit, and was a lot of fun. But it sucks for finding new plushies for the collection. But I was happy to find a couple there at least. I really like this tiger, he is very soft and cuddly and made quite well.
