Emoticomic: Tear by DanVzare Emoticomic: Tear by DanVzare
Everyone loves a good plot twist, so this is my plot twist, I bet no one would have figured it out, especially since I just made it up.

"Flase eye" :XD:

Yes, that's truly a plot twist. I would have never thought that any emote could have a false eye. Now I wonder, how much do I still not know? I bet it's a lot.

The Grey one thought he was crying
But the Purple one said he wasn't and that is was something in his eye (which is what people who don't like to admit they're, crying say)
Grey doesn't believe him and Purple unexpetedly pulls his eye out, and Grey had no idea he had one eye.

Or maybe it just isn't funny, which is quite likely.

Ah yes, I remember when I made this comic.
I was truly struggling to come up with funny jokes, simply because I had worn myself out. It happens occasionally.

I really shouldn't have said I was running out of funny thing though. Ideas for comics are closer to chopping down trees. More will always grow, but you won't have many decent ones to choose from if you chop down too many at once.

I can see you have that with Emoticomic even now. But it doesn't seem to happen with 20QA... Never seems to.
It doesn't happen with Todd & The Shining Sword either. Occasionally I'll get block with that, but when that happens I can just switch to another comic. As long as I write my best ideas down when I get them, I never run out of jokes, because I'll start out with one plan, but then one joke leads to another, and then another... I keep getting more ideas...

Like with Todd VS Lukian, did you know I originally planned that out to be about 34 pages? :work: And yet it got to 52, and isn't even half done.

You don't really get jokes coming quite like that then.

The reason why it doesn't seem to happen with 20QA, is because I've got total creative freedom with 20QA. If I get annoyed with something, or a random thought pops into my head, I can just write down the idea. I've got no shortage of ideas. As a matter of fact, I've got 66 files in my idea folder. That's 66 ideas for comics! And at least a sixth of those are going to be full scripts I could just straight up and use.

Emoticomic on the other hand, requires me to come up with a comic for a specific phrase. How I interpret that phrase is entirely up to me, but other than that, it's quite a bit more limiting and a lot more difficult. Which is good thing, since it forces me to improve (which is why I originally started to do Emoticomics in the first place), but it still gets a bit daunting at times.

And you may not believe it, but I do end up doing what you do, where I plan a few pages, but end up with twice that amount. My comic "The Idiot" was planned to be a two page comic, but it came out as a four page comic. I never had any specific number of pages for Raz and the Everything, but after the second arc I realized that I was subconsciously sticking with six pages per arc. As such I stuck with it, and I felt that doing that, kept the story tight and interesting (especially during the third arc, which I thought came out amazingly).

I also end up getting joke after joke coming to me, whenever I do a story arc on 20QA, but I try to limit those to around 4-parts.
I try to keep my 20QA story arcs to four parts, because I get sick of making comics with the exact same theme 5 times in a row, and a 3 part story arc just looks too short when I read them all in order. Thus 4 parters are the perfect number (although as you can clearly tell, I don't stick to that number like it's law or anything).
