The muffled alarm began ringing, muffled because Dipper had stuffed it into 3 socks. Mabel and him did not want to wake anyone else,
they were taking no chances for what they were about to do. He rubbed his eyes and then walked over to his sister's bed and sat down,
preparing to wake her up, but then hesitated: a moonbeam framed her girlish face and Dipper was enchanted by her long eyelashes and lips
he knew would soon be touching his own.
He gently moved a lock of her rich brown hair, almost black in the predawn dark, and whispered her name, again and again until she
stirred. Before she opened her eyes, before anything her lips curled into a smile that Dipper had come to love. She sat up and wordlessly
nodded to her partner in crime.
