To give your life for your country is one of the greatest honors. I know many who have died on the battle field. Thank You for giving it all. All gave some, Some gave all. Semper Fi and fight the good fight.

"JACK! COME ON, JACK, DON'T DIE LIKE THIS, DON'T DIE LIKE THIS!" Unfortunately, those words were never heard.

To he who did not make it home, may your soul rest in peace.  To he who sends them off to war, may your conscience never rest.

I had a dear friend die when an I.E.D took out the front two vehicles of their group. He died giving covering fire long enough for four of the wounded marines to be dragged to safety. We were all proud of him. Great picture.

This will hit home with my fellow Marines more then most of you know. As some of us had to be that guy holding the fallen. Its not something that can be forgotten or pushed back in the mind. So pleas when you see something like this I hope all of you take a moment to think about what it is truly representing.

For me its more then someone who died for their country its a brother in arms that died for the men and women who are fighting alongside them.

I was hoping to capture the despair and helplessness that Marines face on the battlefield, especially when losing a brother-in-arms. First to fight! Last to leave!

A hero is dying in another's arms. While he draws his last breath, he dies the most honorable way: protecting the innocent. God bless him and his family. RIP hero.

This picture is another one that makes me cry... Your art is excellent. I can't imagine what you and your friends went through, and are still going through. Just know that you and them are the reason I want to join the Corps. You deserve to be followed.

As an OEF Veteran I say this is truly moto! There is no greater love than the one who sheds his blood for his brother. The true heroes of war are the ones that aren't alive to tell their story.

Oh...wow. This is really powerful and beautiful. The message is clear and the emotions are heartbreaking. Our soldiers truly are heroes. Both those who died, and those who fight still. The poses are excellent and the background lends a good dose of realism. Basically saying, this is real. This is happening. I like how we can't really see the one soldiers face because of the helmet, but you can pretty much guess how it looks. And the soldier he's holding looks really young. Man...that's just so sad!

Great work all around! I love the way you made the digital pattern and then used a blurry photo for the background! Very innovative! I like your style
