"To make bubbles with my spit?
To make fun of the Disney Channel?

No, it's time to learn today's lesson.

Wheel of morality turn turn turn, tell us the lesson that we should learn...

And the Moral of today's story is...

Win a free trip to Tahiti!!"

This is a practice piece that I'm doing in a different style than usual, I will be doing more of these to see what works and what should be done differently. This one has a rough edge style instead of hard edges like this one. [link]

Let me know which you think works better for this style.

The drawing for these three characters was provided by Sibsy :iconsibsy: Thanks for letting me practice on them.

The bg was referenced from the Wheel of morality skit from the Animaniacs Show and painted in by me.

Is it time to make the Fox censors cry?

Is it time to encourage children to send us candy?

Assuming Tahiti to be like Hawaii, I could make a sequel picture of them in Tahiti. Yakko would be wearing swim trunks, Wakko would be wearing his shirt like swim trunks, and Dot would be in a pink swimsuit with a skirt make of hay.

What do you think? I'm not so sure about Wakko's idea.

Thanks, though I felt like Improvements were still needed with the coloring style for this piece. And shortly afterwards I got to busy again to get back to it. :/

If I could freeze time and do all the things that I'd like to... I'd probably still procrastinate a lot during that free freeze time. But eventually I'd get around to it and unfreeze time. But unfortunately I do not have that power.

Who could ever forget the Warner Brothers... and the Warner sister.

One of my favorite trios of 90s cartoons.

mabey its the characters or just the overal lighting but i dont like the way this is colored. the coloring just looks very pixelated. i dont think this style really fits the characters, the style probably could be used on something a bit more serious looking but here it just doesnt fit for me.

Ok what do you feel could improve it? smooth out the colors, maybe working in flat two shades of cell shading values like in most cartoons maybe?

i think by smoothing the transition of the colors you could make it look better without having to similar a style to the original character shading.

Wait by smooth do you mean smooth out the textures and make a simple gradient from the dark values to the lighter ones. If that's the case than why bother using this brush? I will say that I think Wacko's Shirt came out well, at least I think so. I can see what you mean by maybe the piece being jagged on the edges with the brush that I used to create the edge of objects. That jaggedness is pretty clear here and there especially on the edge of the grass. Do you have a specific area that you think could look better and if you can is it possible for you to make a note on this piece to show what you mean. I'm interested in improving on this style. Thanks.

A show ahead of it's time, so much so that that slipped right by the censors. :D
