Tanti saluti

I love your color scheme here!! :wow:
The use of oranges and yellows are so beautiful and vibrant. That sky looks ominous and yet pretty as well.
Superb use of perspective, and I love all the little touches, from the rider framed by the sunset, to the train off to the side, the open stable door, the silhouetted windmill, the long shadows, the leaning wagon wheel...(It really makes me miss the days of playing Smokin' Guns with my brothers.)

I'm a first time Western author trying to get folks to buy my books. I would like to use this picture as a book cover. What would I have to do to get to use it. J.C

Would you mind if I used this as a back drop for my players in an Online Star Wars Edge of the Empire campaign?  I tend to broadcast the sessions over twitch and I would credit you as the author.

I think it will work perfectly for a town in the far Outer Rim on a planet that gets little traffic from the outside world.  It has great ambiance as well and the colours really fit together in an eye appeasing way/

Reminds me a lot of the town of Silverado, from the movie of the same name...perhaps a few years later when the railroad came.

I Love what you do with color! However, this piece could use some cooler shadows to contrast those beautiful golden oranges and reds, that would make them pop.

I like the perspective your using and the sense of depth in this piece. In reference to your perspective its really the scale of the buildings that makes it look "off". The mid ground building seems too small (saloon building) it seems sort of squished in height. The train in relation to that building is too close and too large. It could either be smaller in appearance and set further back. Or larger in appearance for where it's placed in the scene. The foreground building on the left's floor is angled too high. To look more natural it would be level with the ground plane.

I am totally jealous of your ability to draw different locales. I'm so intimidated by doing landscape and setting so its great to see you coming up with your own take every week. The buildings fit the theme, and the wood grain texture is convincing! However the edges of the buildings don't look as sharp as they could look. This works great with nature but on man made objects it gives them a slight fuzzy around the edge appearance. The wheel leaning against one of the buildings in the foreground is an example seeming a bit warped or lump and the barrels could be sharper as well which would make them seem more grounded. All around I would says watch your edges . You really notice in a man made object if a window isn't drawn with a straight line because we are used to seeing those things and know how they look.

Hope this was helpful! Sorry to be so detailed. I can see your skills growing!

Nice image but the saloon building appears as if it is tilted, flip the image horizontally and you will realize what I am talking about.

You are welcome.

Also good work with the art work. Although, I have one tip, try and make the lines straighter and try not to use so much of the soft round brush.
