1930-38 Mercedes-Benz 770

Hello Everybody. I present the Großer Mercedes. These high-priced cars were mainly used by governments as state vehicles. Reich President Paul von Hindenburg, Emperor Hirohito and Pope Pius XI were among the customers, Adolf Hitler used a 770 from 1931 onwards. The Norwegian King even had one. 117 W07-series cars were built until 1938. It was powered by an inline eight cylinder engine of 7,7 liters. 200hp with a roots type supercharger and 150 hp without. The car weighed about 2700 kg so not exactly a race car. 

I made this as a present for my friend who just got married, had it printed on a 100cm x 50cm canvas.
