Too bad he dies a silly death. His father/clone would be ashamed.
But, if you read the book "The Mandalorian Armor", the first book of the Star Wars: The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy, he isn't dead. He detonated a thermal bomb that kills the Sarlacc and is recovered by Dengar. If you're interested, the books are:

Thanks for the tip on the books. Actually, I've heard that. But it still was a blind, Han-Solo that accidentally causes his jet pack to shoot him into the sail barge.
Mastermold Fett would have jet-packed right away, floated 30 feet in the air, and broke out his dual-pistols like a cowboy and would have taken them out two-by-two.

Nope, Jango Fett is the mold that the other clones were made from. So he is the master mold. If one thing the new movies brought, is that there were more bad-ass characters in the past. Don't get me wrong, Boba Fett rocks. That's why I made him a weeble and not the Daddy!
Oh! I knew he was the pallet of the original clone troopers, but I didn't know (or just forgot) he was called Mastermold. Everything was better in the past in the Star Wars universe.
