A bright blue shone from inside of a destroyed house as Maybelle and Derek jumped out of the light and landed on the debris. "Where are we?" Derek asked as he stood up and dusted off the debris on his suit.

It's morning… and a beautiful one at that. Well, if you didn't count seeing your world in flames and the sun being eclipsed… it is still beautiful.
For the first time in years, I haven't felt this well rested. I guess this vacation was a good thing after all… we can relax and have fun with each other before we'll have to assign duties and restore the world.
