1965 Corvette Sting Ray Graphite
Graphite pencils on 12X18 Fabriano Artistico, 140 LB Hot Press Watercolor Paper, 20 hours
I am mostly happy with this. I wanted large areas to practice transitions between value changes, and got a bit more than i bargained for. My tones are smotchy, and the transitions are not as smooth as i want them to be.
The good news is that my proportions are close, and i did okay with the foreshortening. I got some nice curves with a number of my value changes on the contours of the body.
So i got some things to improve on, but i am happy with my progress so far with this second serious car drawing.
