OK!! It's all done now. Here is the complete car in a 3D garage environment. HDRI are used for ambient lighting and reflections. There is only one light (a shadow casting spot), the rest is IBL from the HDRI. The Garage geometry has been reused from previous scenes with a few new textures to update it and make it match the car.

Check my gallery for the rear view and WIPs.

I was looking through your WIP on this and it inspires me to try and learn how to do all that texturing and mesh modeling myself. BTW, I wonder if you had Art Of Illusion if you could do all this using that too. ^_^

Awesome render. The level of detail is unbelieveable.

Just a note though. Both the front and rear tyre sais "92 S6 RF". RF stands for "Right Front".
On a model this is just details. On a race car it could be a huge mistake.

The car looks like any of your 3D - perfect.

I do like how you re-textured parts on the garage for it to match this cars 'styling'.

Great work man!

This WIPs were really useful for 3d modelers like me. I've seen many tutorials of modeling the car using polygon modeling and NURBS spline modeling but you have used the good parts from both of this methods. :)

I just wanted to see the polygonal model(wireframe view) of this car and what is the polygone count? :?

Hey man, I hate to nit-pick on such an amazing piece but the 90 car is actually the one that has blue accents on the side of the spoiler, blue mirrors, and blue stickers on the front bumper. The 92 car is the one with the red accents. ;)

Fantastic work though, I loved watching it develop through all the WIP shots!

The ways you put this together is all the more inspiration to me in complex vehicle assemblies.
Have you ever attempted to assemble a fiction/ concept car design?

unbelievable. you made one of my most favourite car of all time, and it looks stunningly realistic. those front lights are above top notch !!!
even the background is so realistic you wanna cry.

there is one place where i wonder where the reflection comes from. the seems to be a yellow shape reflected on the door
