What if I went back to my project after so long?

I stopped working on my project because I was dissatisfied with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the formulaic superhero movies that followed (especially post-Snyder DC). The excessive cringe humor in every superhero movie ruined my enjoyment of the genre. I decided to return to my project and give it a reboot with a slightly darker tone and comedy placed at appropriate moments instead of after an intense or dramatic scene, which has become a notorious practice in the superhero genre.

In the reboot, I have shifted the narrative focus to include a more nuanced exploration of villains. This new focus departs from the original community's "The World Needs Heroes" tagline, which solely emphasizes heroes. I can create a more compelling and balanced story by broadening the scope to include villains.

To streamline the narrative, I have reduced the roster and scrapped most of my unwanted work, including the Celestial Warriors, Soldier 6, Star Maidens, etc. I have also rearranged the prominent and personally trusted characters to relocate them into factions. It will be harder to work on an Electric Soldier title and a Wonder Witch one separately, so it will be better to make them supporting characters or secondary protagonists to some of the main heroes to create a better, smoother narrative.

The story I've created is a reboot that takes a darker, grittier turn, portraying a quasi-dystopic atmosphere in the United States. It delves into issues such as poverty, organized crime, gang violence, racism, corruption, the state of the nation's infrastructure, and the alarming fact that the US spends more on military budgets than healthcare. These issues have real-world consequences that are brought to light through the story.

While I have tried to avoid expressing my political beliefs too much, the scenario I've created portrays a situation where the US and Canadian governments and militaries are affected by a widespread flow of corruption, similar to the police during the prohibition era.

On the other hand, the Japanese side of the story is lighter and semi-utopic, inspired by anime slice-of-life shows and the pop idol industry.

Furthermore, I have added a side story that revolves around spy fiction, featuring two feuding spy agencies named INTERCEPT and DOOMSDAY. These agencies do not answer to any nation, international alliance, or entity. They are locked in a not-quite covert war of global domination that has recently escalated to the public eye due to the recruitment of metahumans.
