Blue ribbons and photographs

I entered 10 photos into the Montgomery County Fair's annual photography competition this year and tonight I went to the fair to eat too much fair food that was dreadfully unhealthy but very tasty, took over 400 photographs of the harness racing and animal showing competitions and went to see if I managed to place in any of the divisions I'd entered.Out of 10 entries I got 5 ribbons: 2 firsts, 2 seconds and an honorable mention. The firsts came in the action/sports division and the 3-shot-sequence division. The seconds were in the nature division and the Montgomery County Fair scene division. Last night I went to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (finally!). I have to say that I enjoyed it immensely. My favourite of the four IJ films is still Raiders of the Lost Ark but this one is now my second favourite, followed by Last Crusade and then Temple of Doom (I liked the action parts of that one but Kate Capshaw drove me nuts).Since I went to the 9:30 p.m. show and then had to sit up talking about it with my friends when it was over, I go to bed at "oh-dark thirty". Thank goodness I didn't have to be anywhere this morning because it was after 12 noon when my cat finally succeeded in waking me up. Of course, now...
