Description

Mountain Equus Ballator filly for: :iconkittyline13:
remember to get your ID ;)

Sire:
Fwled Arian by kittyline13

Dam:
ID#B-142 Nobilia salatrix by Blackbiene

'cause both of the parents got the Merle Gene, the foal got some defects; the coat isn't shown (->white coat) and she's deaf

This EB is a Homozygous Merle.

This means that this mare has what is considered a 'double merle' - or two dominant Merle genes.
The mare is
deaf. No outstanding health conditions are present. This mare should not be bred to any merle or merle carrier as it runs the risk of producing an offspring that is ...

Any combination of the following

Blind
Deaf
Sterile
Stillborn
Stable (rare)

---

Any of the following eye mutations can occur as well

Stable aka Normal (rare)

Micropthalmia
Bilateral
Unilateral

Colobomas
Bilateral
Unilateral

Anopthalmia
Bilateral
Unilateral

Important notes:
--
:iconequus-ballator:
? Eb's are NOT a free breed. You can't make your own.
? Please draw your new ballator with in 2 weeks and submit the
drawing to the group.
? Please be sure that you are a member of the group.
? Ballators can ONLY be bred to Ballators. If you break
this rule you run the risk of your EB being taken away and being blacklisted.
? ID#'s Must go in front of the name.

? Note that breeding two different EB types together will
restult in a loss of 5 points of rarity for the foal . The
foal will most likely be stillborn however, if it survives
it will always have some sort of disorder and 80% of
crossbreds are sterile. (except in the breeding of ForestxMountain)

So this foal is a double merle? If so, please remember the MM. I'm confused on how the foal got the defects right now... Please explain?
