I like the blaze of the sunrise combined with the clarity of the dark areas. The fun of imitation high-dynamic-range shooting!
Began with a single 48-bit RAW image (IS0 100 equivalent). Used Bibble Lite to produce 3 different versions of it: one as exposed, one -3 on exposure value, and one +3. Pulled them into Hugin, aligned them (they stacked up just fine, of course). Then had Hugin output an exposure fused image from the stack. That produced a grainy looking image, so I did some selective Gaussian bluring on it in GIMP.
Shot from outside our front door. I like Hawaii weather in November!
It should make a decent 8x10-sixed print (image is more like 6x10 proportions).
