Description
A steampunk canister.
I found the copper canister at a fleamarket and modified it to open hinge-like, instead of the lid lifting straight off.
Then added some leather straps and the little doohicky ("hitch fastener," because it looks like a trailer hitch) on the bottom. This pops through a hole in the leather strap at the bottom and does a great job keeping the canister closed.
Finally a place to hide my water bottles!
