Sweeter than candy and softer than cotton, enter Candy Cane. The motherfly of all grubs!
She's a mysterious jester who's loyalty lies only with Night Terrors.
She is the only mother for the very lost and confused anathemas and all other children.  They only have her to trust and no one else.

No one loves and protects the young ones like she does. No one.

As a maternal guardian of Nights endless offsprings, she makes sure every child, young or old walks the path assigned to them by their father. And those still yet to join her fun daycare, shall be brought where they belong, even if they must be dragged by force. For
the motherfly knows best and she knows what best suits all of her grublings and children.

Her duty is one of high importance. She's Nights regal Court Jester and chosen Foster mother for all his motherless children. For this reason alone, she is of equal power (̶o̶r̶ e̶v̶e̶n̶ s̶t̶r̶o̶n̶g̶e̶r̶ t̶h̶a̶n̶)̶ to Night Terrors; Making even the cluster demon himself quite cautious around her. She's the true final obstacle anyone has to get through in order to reach him personally. She won't allow anyone's presence interfere with the one she chooses to willingly serve. If any harm comes his way, she will dangerously make it her mission to hunt them down with her very faithful grublings on her side.

Being a mother like her is no easy task. Every butterfly has its predator. Her nest of silk and cloisters have been subject to unwanted visitors trying to have a look inside her carefully calculated work of wool, which is often pressurized.

Morivin, one of her many beloved and most hated of rivals, tends to be a constant obnoxious thorn on her side who to her likeness, seeks to father and protect the young ones like her. However, she's a very jealous and possessive mother. His unneeded interventions cause her a slight taste of ire. However, she always makes sure to get the last laugh and remind him, Mother always comes first. Father second. He'll understand the easy way or... the hard way.

All lonely, sickly and lost children belong to her. After all, none carry the same amount of unconditional and suffocating love her dark and whimsical heart possesses.

The motherfly will fight, kill and eat anything or anyone trying to threaten what belongs to her. For her little ones she will do anything. Defend them with tooth, claws and oh, so much more. But just as she is a loving mother, she is one of very strict discipline. She will teach the rule breakers in the most extreme of ways to ensure they do not stray from mama's  chosen path. Even if said punishment forces her very hand to... re-condition what she deems broken.

She raised them and she can break them for the purpose of absolute and perfect renovation. Mother always knows what is best for the young ones.

Beyond her motherly duties, Candy Cane is a highly skilled hunter.

In order to keep her grublings and children satisfied she must always set out on a fun journey to bring back home proper sustenance to ensure their healthy growth.

Such task is not easy, as she requires fresh prey and flesh.

Just like a mother bird, each kill and offering must be sufficient or else, they will remain very, very hungry. Including herself. Working as hard as her makes her all the more hungrier but regardless of how she feels, her babes always come first.

In addition, Candy Cane always prioritizes hunting in big quantities.

Her various preferred ways of collecting nutrients come in the forms of playful and fraudulent promises, wishes and intense brutal but jolly terminations. For she is a capricious bubbly fae who can make your every desire (or nightmares) come true but with a very high penalty; your loved ones, your bones, your flesh and very soul.

She'll spare those who aren't her personal little ones and add them to her collection or remake them into new and better children who will no longer have to worry about pain or their pasts. The option of also converting them into tasty nutrients to feed the good children is always a welcomed choice but only the more naughty ones may face such a cruel and unmotherly fate.

Up and down, Cane loves her younglings but the naughty ones may test her forbearance sometimes. She rather reserve her harsher and unseelie games for those who carry foolishness in their hearts.

 The foolish ones always search and call upon her name, thinking they will achieve unconditional love, prosperity and immortality through her. Simply the usual and repetitious things a fae must deal with but little do they know, everything has a price. For Candy cane, they are simply livestock for her carnivorous children who possess an even hungrier, cruel  and cannibalistic mother, herself.

Her goal is one of absolute mystery. A pending objective not even her very grublings or Nights could ever understand. What could it be? What would a butterfly like her hide within her strange and sinister cocoon? Is best to not wonder too much or get too close but if there's one thing clear, she doesn't like it when others enter her nursery and try to take her children from her. Never touch the grubs. Never. It angers her deeply; A profound wrath is best to run from because nothing beats the rage of a mother. Especially one with a deep rooted craving for living flesh.

Her grublings are to be left to rest in eternal fantasy. They who sleep in peace under the mantle of her wings, which sparkle with sands of dreams. Forever Undisturbed hearing her echoing melodies of smothering affection beyond the castle walls.

As she can be friendly, she can also be extremely fickle and callous.
She has every aspect of a mother and even the big sister anyone would want but there's an extremely volatile identity behind it all.
As if her changeable behavior wasn't bizarre enough, her brilliance is one of intimidating proportions. She seems to know just about everything and I do mean, everything. She's emotionally calculating. She can be EXTREMELY possessive over things or children she deems hers and once she is possessive and obsessive over said person or thing, she won't want anyone near. She has a unforeseeable hostility that often take many by surprise due to how neighborly and seemingly harmless she looks at first when in fact, she is one of the most murderous and dicey of entities in all of Umbra.

Physically Cane is without a doubt inhuman in every sense. She's very strong and is very capable of fighting without magic. Her hand to hand combat style is that of a Gymnast, contortionist and a ballerina, combined with surprising brute force, terrifying speed and accurate reflexes. Her body is automatically very, very Elastic, durable and quite flexible. She might even bounce some attacks back to opponents using her arms or legs or even the center of her body. She can regenerate after all. All in all? She's VERY strong. Likely, the strongest of her kind but strength is only but a small fraction of her skills and it isn't exactly her forte or main focus. Still, her enemies would do wrong to underestimate her physical prowess. She'll make them regret it.

+Unusual Bodily Traits

As mentioned, she's very elastic, like rubber. She can elongate and manipulate her hands into giant meaty claws of carnage to rip her opponents apart/Smash them or operate her very body to become like rubber itself and wrap herself around a person like a birthday present, trapping them and suffocating or you know, breaking their bones. Using her very body as a tool of death. Her rubbery anatomy also helps her bounce around like a ball. She also has very sharp CARNIVOROUS teeth that can and will chew through anything. I do mean ANYTHING. Her bite is in fact one of the strongest traits she has because she loves to eat... a lot.

+Big Hair
She can manipulate the very hair on her head. It's not big for no reason. She can naturally harden or thicken it. She can turn her massive pigtails into a pair of extra claws or fists with her hair bands wrapped around them, acting as bracelets. Her fists/claws are powerful and destructive in nature. They may help her propel herself or manipulate the contortion of her body during a fight. Not to mention, play as shield, as she can embrace her body with her hair for protection or even armor.

Ice: She naturally is capable of creating ice and manipulate tempts to drop to freezing, the color of her ice magic is black ice.

Poison: As a morpho, is no surprise she has poison, her fairy dust and even saliva may act as it but she can also generate it. Her poison is a neon purple color

Nature: It comes to no surprise she has command over nature. Can manipulate vines, trees and the very critters in it. Especially bugs.

Body Manipulation: She can manipulate her body into being elastic like, while natural, it is still a form of magic. She can also change her sizes. From biggest to smallest

Hair-Magic: As previously mentioned, she can turn them into hands and even, be a pair of swords. She can also control elemental magic, Ice and Earth with her hair-hands, such as making projectiles.

Witch's Voice: Candy Cane has an almost celestial voice. She can sing to anyone and put them into a trance like state, be it temporary or permanent depending how resilient her opponent is. Her voice also allows her to get into people's minds, manipulating them to tell her things or command them to do as told. This also works on wild beasts and children

Grublings: They're creatures she makes from herself within her womb, and they follow her every order, they're either larva like or unusually looking children or faes with minor abilities that mirror her own. May act as spies and they like to attack in groups since, that's when they're their deadliest.

Butterflies: She can manifest, call upon, become, teleport into butterflies. Even her every step, creates the small creatures. They also regenerate her body parts.

Also known as Golden Cane! Candy Cane becomes a golden butterfly, one who is to the likeness of an angel. The transformation is unique and a self-spell in order to give her advantage over primal lighted individuals who are very stubborn. Nothing like fighting fire with fire but also, it can be used against primal dark individuals when is time banish or kill them through exorcist like-skills. She's huge in size during this form. Rivaling that of angels. This change can only be achieved through metamorphosis

(Witch) Blue Morpho - Metamorphosis
Also known as Blue Witch. You see this one in the ref, this transformation increases all of her pre-existing skills to the max with some more. She's extremely dangerous and may cause severe distortion, confusion and even sleep. In this form she has dream manipulation abilities where she can take the victims to the dream world where their minds can be kept for an eternity, turning them into Zombies. Her fairy dust is also much more potent. Her massive butterfly wings covered in eyes capable of driving one's being insane. She is essentially a drug-like deadly bomb. Her face has a huge hole, beware of it but also, those powerful colossal claws and talons of hell. They will rip anything to shreds. She's huge in this size, rivaling even the size of the empress and the 7 deadly sins themselves

Once upon a time, there was a little clown.

She was always sick. Bed ridden. Confined by a sickness that made her weak.
She could never eat, even though she craved and craved but that frail body held her back.
She thought, is this how I will die? She was ready to cave in but then, came the light.
Another little clown appeared! It was her twin brother! The only thing that gave her some hope.

She couldn't play with other kids nor go outside, much less walk but her brother always
Found a way to cheer her up and make her feel normal despite her illness.
He was her ray of sunshine. There was never a day he wouldn't come and care for her.
What a good brother he was. But the little clown thought, am I a burden?
She got worried and began to cry.

The little clown didn't want to hold her brother back. Seeing how happy he was being normal like the rest,
She wanted to let him go out of love but when she voiced her intentions, her brother hugged her
And told her he would never let her go. He would never leave her alone.
Her heart was filled with joy. She thought she was foolish for thinking about letting him go.
For nearly caving in. The little clown had hopes. She wanted to get better
In order to thank her brother for all the unconditional love he has always given her.

However, one day, all would change. The little clown, as usual would expect her brother to come so they could play and spend time together but he never came.
Everything suddenly turned dark outside. She felt something was wrong. Her heart told her, something wasn't right. So, with all of her will and all of her might, she grabbed her wooden canes for support and got out of bed for the first time to find her brother. She was slow, exhausted and in pain but this didn't stop her.

As she arrived into the magical forest, she was horrified. She saw every child she used to see through her window, dead. They were all dead. Her heart sank into her chest. Weakly shaking him, trying to get answers as to what happened and where was her brother.

All the elder one said was... he was taken by a horrible monster. His soul and all. None remained
No. She couldn't accept this. Not like this. She had to tell her brother so much.
She didn't even get to thank him for being her hope. She wouldn't accept this. She could not.
She got up and tried to follow where her brother went but the deeper she got, the more death she would encounter. She found a piece of his clothes covered in blood which sent her into a frenzy.

She began to cough and knew it was time for her to head back but she didn't want to.
Little clown was determined to find him one way or another, so she disappeared into the dark woods, never to be seen again. Unfortunately, Little clown passed away because of her illness, wishing for her brother to come back. Wishing to see him again.
Her wish, her desire was so strong, darkness took a hold over her grieving heart.
She has succumbed to the wickedness of the forest...

And with its influence and power, she was reborn.
Now sick with hunger, she set out on a mission to find her brother.
No matter what it took, she would find him and rescue him.
Even if it meant, becoming a monster.

Facts Of Candy Cane
-Some of her abilities are a reference to the first story between her and Candy Pop

-When telling the children about the fairy tale of the little clown, she is in fact talking about herself.

-Candy Cane died from her illness during a few days later After Candy Pop's disappearance.
She died in the dark woods. A place said to be filled with the darkness of the earth itself.
Dying in such a place with the strong desire of rescuing and seeing her brother again caused her to be reborn into an unseelie witch

-Unfortunately, she would never be the same again after this metamorphosis.

-She longed accepted her fate for the sake of finding Candy Pop and being at his side

-It can be assumed she in fact willingly accepted to work for Nights in order to be close to her brother. She would have killed Nights but learning the fate of their fusion made this task difficult

-It's unknown what kind of illness she had but it can be assumed it didn't allow her to eat or her body simply couldn't retain nutrients as it rejected them, she was in constant hunger which caused her to have chronic hunger upon being reborn

This Character was supposed to be posted sooner buuuuut yeah, her bio took me a little longer because of very specific details. But now she is here! Candy Cane received a complete make over! And new things of course! Her inclusion means the story written must be tweaked but that's the least of my worries. Please enjoy her!
