Fowl's under arrest sorta

Yeah, nice big dramatic exit for a guy who just fell two stories onto a snack table. As soon as he finishes swooshing his cape, he'll be limping back to the barn for some TLC.

I'm glad I found a way to get Commissioner Gall into this story. He wasn't in the original draft, but I feel he adds a sense of authority, a strong presence of Law and Order in a story that appears to dismiss it. He actively opposes the Fowl at all turns, as contrasted to Janston, who reluctantly enables the vigilante he professes to disapprove of. Plus, he's just fun to draw.

Tengu's kite suit makes perfect sense to anyone who knows anything about Japanese mythology [link] .
