He-man is so made of win and awesome.

Makes for a huge big grrr super hero look, totally, just makes you wonder how the torso holds it all up!

While all of the features individually work well, they do not quite mesh together that well. The head and face especially are very well done, I love the line of his mouth, but it is quite large compared to the torso and neck. Likewise, the arms are very well done, great super hero muscle detail, but they seem more "hulk smash" rather than "Thundercat" when compared to the torso, which seems too narrow for the neck and arms/shoulders it is supporting. The top half of the arms seem to be about the right length, the bottom half seem to be long, however I don't think it's the arms themselves that are too long, I think the torso, specifically below the belly button, needs to be lengthened out. The body part just feels a little squished and sadly I'm not entirely sure what specifically to suggest to improve that.

The shading on the figure is really great, adds a lot of interest and helps define the muscles and changes in colors and fabric. The forearm holding the sword, especially, looks very impressive, and the detail on the muscles on the chest are very well defined. All in all you've obviously got the anatomy down, it's more a matter of making it all fit together in harmony. Make the head a little smaller, neck a little longer and torso a bit thicker/longer and it should all snap very neatly into place. Great work, you know you always make me fangirl!

This was always one of my favorite project to take part in, thanks for keeping the tradition alive! So excited to see it returning, time to go get started on my cards.
