As the title suggest. This dinosaur is always drawn and modeled without feathers. So I thought I could give it a go and see would it look any more interesting with some feather filament dressing. What do you think?

Having the armor underneath is like a ground sloth.

Mylodon to be precise.

Why not other Ground Sloths too.

Only Mylodon has confirmed evidence of osteoderms under its thick fur.

Cool. I can see you took some inspiration from an Andean Cock-of-the-Rock. Very authentic (and continent-wise), I love it. :D (Big Grin)

Yes, that bird was one of my references for this piece.
Thanks

Interesting idea!

looks great, but very innacurate. Carno had a nearly scale covered body.

This was not about accuracy.. just a concept.
But I addressed the scaly vs feathery Carno here with bit more thought.

I do like the concept, just wanted to tell others who might not have known carnotaurus has extensive skin impressions.

Carnotaurus had a scaly neck. The fossils showed that it had inguana-like skin on its neck. But that can also mean that it had a feathered body and featherless neck

Nah.  Carnotaurs looked better with the proven bumpy scales.  One of the few few theropods that never had feathers at all.

Or a feathered dinosaur with scaly neck

In which its species never had to begin with.
