This is one of the best examples of bright row house coloring I have seen. They're like people - we're all different and we're all the same.

Wow, I've been looking at Italy photos all night. Such a lovely bright and colourful place. The Italians must be very happy people. They need to teach our planning officers here in. England a lesson or two - our local town hall would look miles better if it were painted in bright colours such as in this photo. Stunning. Wow! :-)

Sorry for the late reply! This kind of bright coloured towns are quite rare in Italy too, unfortunately. :/ Houses in many towns are only allowed to be painted in a handful of shades of similar colours. It's kind of sad too, but on the other hand it's what makes this place and other similar ones so special!

Are those stores?

No, they are all private houses! There are some very famous lace shops which are downstairs from the owner's houses, but in this photos there's only homes. :)

It remind me of Gaspésie, a remote part of Québec, there is many houses in vivid colors. Somebody once told me it was because the travelling salesmen would run out of more usual colors before they get to Gaspésie....it used to be a fishermen country but industrial fisheries emptied the mighty St-Laurent...my mom was born in these parts.....www.deviantart.com/art/Gaspesi…

Really nice! In turn, the cliff reminds me of Alghero, the place in which I live now. Near the town there are limestone cliffs like that one! damainnero.deviantart.com/art/…

I can see the similarities, hopefully the water is warmer, the water of the St-laurent are soo cooold...it is not funny, sometimes I think tourism would have been much better if one needed not a diving suit to go for a swim....

Yes, here the water is very warm and Alghero has many popular resorts. The part you see there, though, is definitely not up for swimming because there's nothing between the 180-high cliff (the one from which I shot the photo) and the water below. No beaches and no way to get there. =P
Canada has many interesting places to visit, though! It's one of the country I would love to visit the most. I come from a country rich in forests and the thought of Canadian forests recalls that and makes me feel nostalgia.
