First render on new computer.  Genesis 2 version of Tammy Woo.  Not entirely happy with this render.  But I can live with it.

I did a simple cover for a friends E-book a few years ago.  And I occasionally do commissions depending on my interest level and available time.  But I prefer to work on my own projects, anyway most people don't want to pay for the art, at least not enough to make it worth while.  So I mainly do that sort of thing when I need some extra cash to buy 3d models, or something like that.

Out of idle curiosity, what rate of payment would make it worth your while?

Thats sort of a tough question to answer.  If I was an illustrator professional, that had to make a living doing this it would be at least several hundred dollars.  More realistically.  I see a lot of artists here at deviant  get $20.00 to $30.00 a picture.  From a practical point of view.  I usually get $8.00 to $10.00 a picture from people that want short stories illustrated.  plus expenses.  This stuff is somewhat negotiable once I have a description of the project and what its being used for.

I may take a crack at this.  But, How close are you to making a decision?  I see a couple other entries already in.  The purple one isn't bad, Though I'm not sure I care for just purple tones.

I guess standard book dimensions?

I like the monochrome one but full color is just as good.
I need a high resolution image (my bookbinder says 300dpi is good) and permission to use it.
You don't need to worry about dimensions, or even the back cover, I do all that myself.
All I really need is a pretty picture but if someone else covers Warlock, I still have twelve other books to cover.

I suggest you read the back cover text for books three and five, you'll find them at my website.

Pick one of those if you like.
