I had a tough time with this shot -the critter insisted on stopping in an area that forced me to be a contortionist

Originality Technique ImpactWow! What an amazing macro shot!
The detail and clarity in this photo are nothing short of perfect. I have never quite seen a Lady Bug in such detail before. The shell, the eyes, even the little hooks and suction cups on its legs are all in superb detail and stunning clarity. This photo truly brings this amazing little creature into new light.
The depth of field and perfect focus right on the critter itself is also amazing. Focusing a macro is truly an art form, and this photo demonstrates a very strong technique.
There is so much to such a common and tiny little creature as a Lady Bug. Photos like this are great, allowing everyone to see these beautiful works of creation for more than just a spotted red bug.
