A very nice picture.

Interesting fact: When they need to use a common name, entomologists in the United States widely prefer to use the names "ladybird beetles" or "lady beetles" instead of "ladybugs" as these insects are not true bugs since all "bugs" share a common arrangement of sucking mouth parts that lady beetles do not possess.

The dominant species in this area is red to orange, but this species is very common at my house.

thanks.  it is only the creator of these creatures who knows why some are red and some orange.  they are beautiful in those colours, though. I cannot complain.

Scintillating. :)

:sherlock: Is the matt finish a reflection of the subject or your latest diffuser solution?

The diffusion is so good that I'm picking up texture in the shell.
