The Extranormals: Chapter 1

It had been an ordinary night… well… it had been, until he’d heard the scream.  Alexander Hawke sighed.  Walking briskly towards the sound, he heard a hard THUD, and Alexander could swear he saw a man swiftly jettisoned out of a nearby alley.  Either way, the man was unconscious on his back.  Alexander looked quickly at the man and noticed that yes… he was breathing.  He narrowed his eyes as he rolled the other man onto his side in the recovery position, realizing that the scream must have come from one of the Extranormals.  People with special abilities and powers… people like him.  Alexander headed to the alley and stood in the light given off by a bright porch lamp. “Are you alright?” he asked.  “That guy didn’t rough you up too bad, I hope.” “N- no…” came a surprised voice.  The voice’s owner stepped out of the shadows.  “I don’t know what happened.  He… he ain’t dead, is he?” “Don’t worry about him, he’ll be alright.  I’m Alexander Hawke; I heard the scream and saw the guy fly out
