I'm curious, how did you do this? :P
in a glass or vase or what? Is it necessary to have a external flash? is this inside or outside? you drop something in the water? did u use a remote?
btw. I use the Sigma 150mm macro as well...

I did it with lot of patience and luck :)
It was in a little pot with a white background. I've used my flash on the camera because I don't have a remote hot shoe, yet. You have to pay attention on the reflection on the glass. And I was dropping the kiwi slice in the water a trying pushing the expo button in correct time.

If you curious for something else just ask :)

wow, thanks for your description.
I think I'm going to try some of those things tomorrow,
Probably outside in the garden, I don't own a good flash, so I need the light outside.
Maybe I could fade the reflections easy with a circular polarizer.
Anyway, if it works out, I'll submit the shot to my gallery.

It's worth a trying, but I think the natural light won't be enough even if the sky is clear and the sun is shining. You need a very fast exposition. Or another way, you need completely dark and long exposition and one or more fast flash. In this case the flash has to be fire while the long exposition, when the object splash in the water.
