I had a suggestion from someone to try this app called Visions of Chaos an openCL GPU rendering app (it is fast I'll give it that) it's kinda convoluted how you do things with it but probably just need to use it a while. Anyway first thing out of VoC looked very similar to this, have no idea how I got there cause I have no idea what I'm doing with that app...
No I didn't it was just a first attempt to see how that app worked. I just picked a spot on the Mandelbrot zoomed in applied julia and a box transform had no idea really what I was doing so I didn't render and save it. It's kinda reminiscent of the app Fractorium, I don't quite get that app either...I'll try anything with openCl GPU rendering with this new Hotrod Computer with a decent Graphics Card I have now
I'm not much of a formula cruncher, but the program has a lot of options and possibilities.
It's very fast and Jason who coded it gives very good support, totally unlike what you would get from JWF.
