Lady Kurotsume: The Blind Omen.

They call her the Blind Omen—not because she cannot see, but because she sees too much.

Lady Kurotsume walks the moss-covered paths between life and death, draped in silence and shadow. Her veil does not shield her eyes, but the world from what lies behind them. Wherever she goes, the crows follow—whispers of fate and feathered messengers of unseen gods.

No one knows her origin. Some say she was once an imperial oracle betrayed by the court, her eyes scorched by truth. Others believe she is the living curse of a forgotten shrine. What is known is this: those who meet her on the path never reach their destination.

The lanterns flicker as she passes. The air thickens. And all that remains is the sound of her staff against stone—and the silence that follows.

She is the judgment of the forest.

She is the last thing you’ll never see.
