Put it on
Put it on by sassynails is a mixed-media piece that carves out a niche of its own. There is a lot of consideration and detail that went into the materials assembled for its completion. The final result combines the best of many worlds to create a loving portrait that is both serene and elegant. A combination of both nature and artifice. And a real pleasure to behold.

Two Strains
I am the botanist, and I take care of the plants. While the rest of the crew were in cryosleep, I was the one who stayed awake, to tend the crops we would need to feed ourselves when the last step of our decades-long mission came and everyone was woken up. At the time I only needed to feed myself, and sustain the growth of the plants for the rest. Our main crop was wheat- a combination of two strains. The first and most numerous one was modified to make it more nutritious, resistant to various bugs, and better able to withstand the specific environmental challenges of space flight. The other -a strain of my own, packed into a tiny corner o

Keiwii - Birdfolk/Akriri
Keiwii - Birdfolk/Akriri by tifiz is an adorable little plushie that started off as a drawing on a page. The design itself is delightful and the 3D-realization is both precise and true to the concept. The result is a whimsical little creature that is soft on the eyes and soft to touch. Nicely done!

Sentinel-Vega poseable art doll
Sentinel-Vega poseable art doll by hikigane is an art doll that breaks the mold. There is something primal and wide in the design of this doll and that concept permeates through the entire piece. From the graphic details on the limbs to how the figure stands, this is a piece that heard the call of the wild.

Diary of a social worker
Lately, I have been asking myself the same question over and over, ‘Why do I still want to be a social worker?’ I have seen people suffer. In schools, where children are meant to learn, grow, and have fun… I see children get badly bullied because of their disabilities. Some of these children should be in specialised schools where they can receive proper support and enjoy school… But no, they are stuck in normal classes where they lose interest in learning, day after day. There are kids who even beg to stay with me, wanting me to take them away from school because they dread it so much. In homes, where children are s
