Asami is currently a member of a Bikers team in Shinjuku and a massive fan of motorbikes as well as good at racing. She's also a heir of her older brother - Michi Kousoku who has died by an accident during the race. (The black jacket Asami is wearing all the times is from her brother as a keepsake). 
Michi Kousoku used to receive a lot of respects from his teammates, either do Asami.

Although Asami is the kind of disordered person in school, she is a person with experience and a good listener. She once helped Kaede get over with her stress by giving her some useful advice.
