Storm Clouds

As a departure from my usual digital work, I made a piece with oil pastels. After some recent drawings with coloured pencil (see tumblr post), it seemed a good idea to try some more traditional art. I couldn't even remember the last time I used pastels, so this was certainly a bit of an adventure into unfamiliar territory. I had a fairly limited set of colours, which made layering colours a bit of a challenge. Still plenty of fun to work with.

I'm thinking about doing some more traditional work, maybe another watercolour.
