I like the hair! Good shape of the bangs. Now go on and do a new one :)

Yes, it will always feel as if everyone else is better. I know this, and for a while it intimidated me, to the point where I just didn't really want to doll anymore. Then I just accepted it and I dolled because dolling is FUN! It's fun, and I don't care if I am good or not. It's fun and I miss it, because there is something very relaxing about zooming in on pixel level and figuring out what the best line, the best shade, the best colour combination is.
It's fun :) Keep that in mind and just let loose! Dolling is one place where anxiety really can't get you and it knows it. It's afraid of it :)
At the same time, don't be afraid to improve, if you want to. It's not mandatory though: so if you get any helpful hints, it's not criticism or a way to get you to stop dolling. Simply say that you are happy with the results, because that is all that matters.
You'll improve, even when you arent trying, I promiss you! But first: have fun!!!
Blackpool is ... a place I somehow manage to remember fondly. I remember going on a ride on the pleasure beach, where the restraints did not come down, yet they let us ride it anyway. Guess they didnt know how to stop the cart to let us out. Luckily it was an indoor mini-coaster, that did not have a loop.
And ... omg, memories coming back. The toilets! Were disgusting! I got scammed by an old lady selling flowers for 'charity'! I got yelled at by some salesperson for browsing not buying! Friendly people...

Still. The zoo was fine.
* edit:  And your chibi is awesome. You do great little chibis :)
Point me to Blackpool
I'll get quite philosophical and claim that every artist (writer, painter, jeweller... whatever!) puts something of themselves in a style, whether that's realism or a sketchy style, or something in between. And it's the degree of comfort with themselves that shines through in their work. And the more comfortable one is with who one is, the better the artwork speaks, regardless of style and perfection. It becomes perfect because it speaks to the heart and the eye of the public.

(I've been doing more drawing and stuff myself. Created more time for it. I'm working on this theory, that I have to let go of my own idea of perfection and just accept my own style is what it is... It's kind of when you are over 40 and you look at photos of yourself as a 20 year old and go 'I don't remember that I looked that nice. But I did. I was a pretty okay young girl back then!' The same happens with my drawings: I look at what I drew when I was younger, and it may not be perfect, but it shows something of who I was then. And it wasn't as bad as I remember!)

Not to say one should not strife to better themselves, or bother learning technique!! But art comes from within. Which, I know, sounds old and tired, but it's true.

It's no secret I like your style a lot, even if it goes through changes, because I have the feeling it's ... you.
Both have a use, and it doesn't really matter to me. As long as it is consistent in a way. I mean, drawings that look smooth and perfect, but then have this imperfection somewhere thrust in to make it look 'authentic', that doesn't work for me. And drawings that are too 'messy' but feel as if they've been planned out too much ... does that make sense?
It's about what the style, or personality?, of the artist is that bleeds through in the drawing and the lines. And that's what I like.
