I finished writing the second book of my trilogy early January, and have since been editing it *non-stop*. I'm hoping to have it completed very soon - then I'll sit on it while I work on the book cover.
I'm also trying to update the cover of the first book, The Zi'veyn - some visual improvements that, so far, seem to be working out.
I'm hoping to have the second book released in the summer.
In the mean time, I'm working with Frenone on a book of short stories, and planning out the third book.
I also made an author website: www.kimwedlock.com
It makes me feel ridiculous.

Peregrine Falcon Miniature Necklace
[All pieces in my Etsy shop are now available as hanging and standing ornaments, as well as the original necklaces]
Another bird of prey piece, a peregrine falcon. Like the tawny owl, it measures about 1.5-2cm inside a 3.5cm tall by 2cm wide glass jar. I think it came out well enough, but certainly looks better in person. The issue is, due to the miniature size of it, just about every piece viewed online is being seen bigger than it actually is. It bothers me - but it can't be helped.

Tawny Owl Necklace
A teeny tiny tawny owl! I'm so proud of how this little guy came out!
The owl is less than 1cm tall and is perched on a little tiny tree stump. The jar is 3.5cm tall and 2cm wide, so a touch taller than my usual jars.
I made some changes to my Etsy shop, though - every jar is now available as a standing/desk ornament as well as a necklace, so they're open to a much wider audience. Tiny and tidy, so you don't add any clutter, but sturdy, and light enough to be blu-tacked to the top of your monitor ^^

Rathen + Salus [Inktober 2018]
This one actually came out better than I'd expected.
I don't have the time to draw every day for Inktober, but considering I never draw at all, I like to try to participate once a week. Rather than prompts, I've been drawing characters from The Zi'veyn, my most recent fantasy novel and first of my new trilogy, The Devoted. Here is Rathen and Salus, the lead protagonist and antagonist.
I used Faber-Castell PITT superfine pen, ZIG twin brush graphic art pen in warm grey, and Winsor and Newtone black drawing ink.
