This is a proof of concept for the Automatic Llama Trader App which I've been working on.

I started working on this tool in 2016, and stopped its development half a year later, due to the complexity.
With the introduction of DeviantArt Eclipse, I had to pause my efforts, since the APIs differed quite a bit with DeviantArt classic.

However, I'm working on finishing the app by including the Return Script into itself.
When the development is done, you can expect a safer and easier way of returning your llamas through this app.

This app is supposed to replace my Automatic Llama Return tool, in addition to adding a ton of new trading features.

I have taken down the Automatic Llama Return feature, due to some problems that it had created in the past. For people who were using this service, please know that you can continue to use them on the PC-app which I'm releasing in a couple of weeks, which will store account login information locally.

The major problem is that dADroid is mainly written in PHP language, and this Graphical User-Interface is written in C# language.
Which means either I have to do a complete re-write of dADroid into dotNet (which I'd pretty much like to avoid) or come up with a reliable way to communicate PHP with C# (which I was working on it, and it works, but this requires the user to install PHP binaries on his or her computer, and complicates stuff for a non-dev user.)

All in all, I'll find a way to finish this project and make a stable, easy, lightweight and safe app for you all.

BTW, if you are interested, I have uploaded a DEMO version in the following page:

(This version of the app only has a UI and doesn't really do anything.)

Watch this account if you are interested, I'll update this deviation when I update the app.
As always, any feedback, ideas or otherwise suggestions are appreciated as always.

I tried the demo, but it said the required binaries were missing?

Sorry for the late reply,

yes, this is unfortunately due to me not finishing the app.
If this proves to be popular, I will put some time on it to finally finish it. :)

You can also use my app WebDGap and convert your website to a desktop app - mikethedj4.github.io/WebDGap/

This looks promising to me, albeit it seems that you've made the native Windows version deprecated? Can you provide a web desktop app demo?
Anyways, since I do a lot of developing with Cordova (the core of Phonegap) and since I found Electron not up to the task, it would make sense for me to move the dADroid's Llama Trader from hideous C#.NET to WebDGap.

One question though, does WebDGap support Node.JS? I'm currently digging through your Github readme but the docs are not clear on whether if it works within the chrome apps or not.
P.S. Seems like the link is now changed to – github.com/michaelsboost/WebDG…

Yes I updated my Github username and this URLs have been changed I'm working on the redirections it's just time-consuming and will take some time to complete.

Anyway, WebDGap exports all desktop apps with NW.JS which does use and support Node.JS so yes that'll work fine.

WebDGap ports mobile as a PhoneGap Build project. You can read up on the PhoneGap Build documentation on PhoneGap Build and Node.js

Google had deprecated chrome apps so I made WebDGap as a chrome extension which converts websites as a desktop app.

It's also available as an Android application. I've only developed WebDGap in my free time and because I haven't received high demand or any funding I haven't been able to continue improving it. Thus why there hasn't been any updates in months. I made it not for money but because I wanted a solution to a problem. However with new operating systems coming out all the time usually the wrapper has to update to meet with the new requirements. Which generally requires a team. Which is why I made it open source for community collaboration and contribution. Which the thesis discusses all about the code behind WebDGap.

why not include the binaries in a stand alone installer that will just install them when the user installs the llama trader app? ---A lot of games, and other programs do this with Directx or microsoft .net framework

This is a good idea, except that the binaries are huge (about ~110mbs),
so I really need to come up with an idea to get rid of them instead of including them.

Hint hint: My application uses .NET and PHP binaries together, and that's a really inefficient way to do this!

An automatic llama trading app? Can I bulk trade llamas to people who don't have them? Paint me intrigued ^^
