Mountains of Might

This is the first image from my recent German Alps tour together with NicolasAlexanderOtto and JanPusdrowski. We woke up at 3:30am in order to also get some night shots including stars. While we were driving to Lake Eibsee we saw temperatures around -18°C on the car thermometer, which made us doubtful whether our clothes will keep us warm enough for around 4 hours in the snow and ice shooting longtime exposures. Apparently our clothes have been warm enough because nobody suffered from frostbite. Apart from the cold it was such a pleasant feeling to enjoy such a peaceful time at the lake, while we had the whole lake to ourselves.
