The Elephant and the Dragon
There was once a moving island always shrouded in mist.
It was actually a giant elephant, and it appeared and disappeared over the ocean like a mirage.
Its name was Zunisha, and it was a thousand years old.
An elusive people, the Mink, lived on its back. However, Zunisha felt lonely since they couldn’t hear its voice.
One day, though, a pink dragon appeared.
Zunisha called at it, and to its surprise the dragon replied. From that day they became inseparable.
The name of the dragon was Nobori Ryu, and it was made of ink.
A/N: “Nobori Ryu” (literally “Rising Dragon”) is the real name of “Ryunosuke”, the dragon created by Kanjuro.
