If you were wondering as to why you can no longer submit....

Da-Literature is shutting down. Forever (probably). But don’t fret, we’re not completely gone! We’re simply moving to create a new one, since the founder here is kind of… missing. For two years. And staff won’t do anything about that, because he didn’t deactivate. So that left us in a bit of a sticky situation when we needed to do anything, since we didn’t have the permissions available. We wish spoems/Shane the best of luck in his future, and we hope he’s doing well, but since we haven’t heard anything in over 2 years it’s best we move on.

Considering this is in a folder, or on the front page, or in a comment somewhere, you can probably imagine one of those permissions includes subitting journals to the group period. We are effectively locked out of being able to moderate the group; we cannot submit journals, we cannot do high level moderation in any shape or form – which includes accepting works into certain folders, or creating new folders (which would mean we’d have to stop accepting poetry period after Poetry 3 inevitably fills up in the near future), so that leaves us one choice. Closing da-Literature….

However, feel free to mosey on over to DA-Bookshelf ! (Still under construction.)

Note from the future: Our permissions on dA-lit are still limited so there isn't a lot we can do atm. Most of the message above is still preserved from when it was last posted, which now makes it 5 years since the group closed in 2019. We can still hide spam and that's about it.
