Description

Red camelias are a symbol of honorable death in Japan apparently, I thought red is a pretty color. What would you do if you fell from the sky? I liked this title because it could as well be someone's google search history in a terrible situation.

About the suicide series though guys.
I hope you don't give in to ideation. I'm not suicidal. I'm also not very talkative as a person. Try to not overthink it too much ok?
So the tiny view behind is a view you can see at the Yanaka Ginza district, near Sendagi station. I recommend walking from Nezu station to Yanaka Ginza through the tiny streets on the right side of the boulevard. That walk healed my soul.
You can find a cute bakery in one of the backstreets, they have a hanging kid logo and they do chocolate "CHOCORAFURANSU" breads. Yes you read me right.
Back to my image: First time I scan a watercolor and ink it digitally. Thoughts? Also,
I'm studying (without much success) to pass a language test called N2. I will certainly fail, but you guys know the reason why I post less. This and the fact that I do several little baitos at the same time.
See you next week :D

This is a deeply striking and thought-provoking piece. The composition is beautiful, especially the contrast between the vivid red of the camellia and the soft, cool watercolor tones of the cityscape. It captures a very specific, melancholic mood perfectly. Thank you for sharing the lovely recommendation for the walk near Nezu station, too—it adds such a peaceful context to the artwork. now how will i remember that...lol can't really google-map save an entire route
