Emo and Catti sit in the living room.
At least I dont have boy problems.
Really? What about Burr?
Oh were taking it slow. Hes not too sure about the whole fame thing, and I dont want to get into anything too serious yet.
I see. Emo raises an eyebrow.
Silence falls.
Ok fine. He hasnt called in a while, and I cant very well date when theres so much else I could be doing!
Silence.
Im still lying, arent I?
Yes.
Well, not totally. Its an all of the above plus Patches screwed me up a little
The house is too quiet all the time. Catticus doesnt dare speak too loud the tension might explode.
It used to be that everyone cooked together, but now Catti cooks alone she is the only one with a will to (or the talent to, considering Aminals inability to stop eating), and leaves it warm on the stove. She eats with Aminal most days, but they soon retreat to their own rooms, or sometimes to the basement studio to watch movies.
She hears Veronica late at night, wandering into the kitchen for leftovers. Every time she sees him, his mohawk droops a little more. She is sure hes not showering properly, considerin
It's an early Monday morning, and the Ethereal house is still asleep. All worn out from a recent tour, the four have decided not to greet the day quite yet.
Unfortunately, life goes on.
Life continues on this Monday, starting with the raucous "Orange and Blue" doorbell, announcing a visitor.
After no answer, the visitor enters the house on his own. Quietly, he makes his way to the living room and takes a seat on the couch.
Emo is the first to stumble out of his room. Drowsily he goes to the kitchen, grabbing a Pepsi. Apparently not noticing the visitor, he slumps into his armchair.
Burr looks at Emo, whose eyes are mostly closed. "Mornin
The Ethereals sit in their living room. Each on their respective chair, the couch currently empty. The room is quiet, Aminal switches off the game console he and Veronica had been playing and looks to Catticus.
Catticus sits watching Emo intently. His forehead is furrowed and he bites on his bottom lip. He stares into nothingness with the utmost in concentration. His right hand is extended in the air as if gently holding the neck, his fingers move forming perfect chords. He gently strums the strings of a guitar he hasn't bothered to pick up.
Catti watches as the music flows from mind to fingers unhindered. She forms her arms as if holding h
Catticus sits at the table near the concert hall doors, signing autographs with Aminal. She is in high spirits, for the concert has gone well. She signs pictures of herself, her friends, and CDs with a happy smile and big flourishes. Aminal smiles too, and taps out an echo of his fantastic drum solo from earlier that evening. Not one to be talkative, he still interacts with the fans enthusiastically.
A boy, seeming about the same age as Catti, walks up to the table, squishing in behind the other fans. One or two people at a time squeeze by the rope around the table and bodyguards. He catches her eye because of his blush. She swear
We talked that night;
that was all it took.
It was clear in my eyes
Like the words in a book,
That from the moment I saw you,
My whole world shook.
You're all I want.
We kept in touch,
But only just barely.
I'd wait for your calls,
But they only came rarely.
If you'd give me a chance,
I could love you so fairly.
You're all I want.
You see me as a girl
Whom you met one night.
Who am I to argue?
That's pretty much right.
But that doesn't hinder me.
I'm prepared to fight.
You're all I want.
I'll make you love me.
I'll do whatever I can.
I know the right way
How to treat a man.
I'll show you your mistake,
That night that
ahhh Both your journals are completely beautiful. Have I ever told you that I totally thank Jesus for this strange friendship we have. Our God is good. <3
Ok! I'll do it soon! It requires a wee bit of thought me thinks!
