IFXOctober Day 16 - Ruins

“Harriet has been cursed for 200 years now. In all that time, she’s been summoned to so many different realms and times to perform hits, and she’s unable to cross the barriers of reality on her own. It was only recently that she asked anyone, in this case, me, to bring her back. I warned her that there wasn’t much chance that it would even still be standing, but she still wanted to see her old home. We weren’t surprised when we saw that barely anything was left. It was a sobering moment for the both of us.”

“The good news is, once a friend of ours learned of this, he offered to see about reconstructing the place and using it as a shelter and distribution center for those in need. Harriet is happy with this arrangement. She wants something good to come out of everything.”
