Vex ended up properly defecting once things were cleared up, but the experience stuck with him. We were being shown what the Champion, Lady Eira, could do with her mastery over water in all forms. She at one point began to levitate us by gently pulling at our very blood. It was actually really cool, but Vex was close to reacting violently. Macabre wasn’t fond of the feeling, either, but he quickly calmed Vex down. Eira had no idea of knowing how Vex would react, and frankly, neither did the rest of us. I’m just glad it was stopped before anything actually happened.”
