Darktober Day 31 - Fate

"Fate, Destiny, they're such strange concepts, even for many of us Celestials. Everyone has one, but here's the thing; they're more malleable than people seem to realize. What I see those concepts as is more of a trajectory based on current path. Mortals can, at any time, decide to change their situation should they be capable of doing so. Sometimes even something as simple as an attitude change can greatly alter your path. Choices have consequences, sometimes far-reaching. I do hope that mortals can learn to use the gift of free will responsibly. It's a grand ability that was entrusted to them."
