Given how well I know Rockoon, I imagine his response would be:

"Awwww. How sweet. I'll be sure to BLOW YOU UP LAST!"

Yeah. He might dislike swearing, but he's also kinda a jerk. Quite glad you've been enjoying his character, though!

SUCKAS GOT GOT.

Alan! Very glad you enjoyed Rockoon's character so, and considered him able to generate great heel heat before putting over Alpha and Kirb! Though, I'm holding out hope he'll get to turn face someday, and isn't reduced to jobber duty or "future endeavored". Woo Woo Woo, You Know It.

...Chris, Are you paying attention? Did I lose you?
TOME: Rockoon
This is from someone who works extensively in the animation voiceover business.

Your statement is so wrong, in so many ways. I often hear from voice directors, about how much they *dislike* working with screen actors with no voiceover training, because they simply aren't used to telling a story using only their voice. Many of whom have been TRAINED to do less with their voice, and have become naturally inclined to make a read flatter and more monotone. Tom Hanks even noted Toy Story as one of the hardest things he's ever done, as an actor who's very reliant upon conveying emotion through physical movement. Not so easy when you're often alone in a booth with none of your castmates to play off of, and need to remain properly positioned in front of a mic.

Only top of this, established voiceover talents are often called in to audition for the same roles as celebrities in animated movies, only for the director to show the voice actors' recordings to the celebrities and tell them to "do it more like that guy".

Actors who've specialized in theater adapt to voiceover far, FAR better than screen actors. A lot of the vocal delivery is there, they just tend to struggle with mic technique.
That's great news! I'm so happy for you both!
