    The hype of the 6th Annul Lilium Stables Arabian Horse Show was over and it was time to start showing some of the younger horses. Coming away with a Grand Champion and a first place with Guenstling made the show season so far. Savanah had dyed her hair brown for the start of her show season and was enjoying the different look. Jack on the other hand was not thrilled his fiance was messing around with her hair. Although he would never tell her that he preferred her blonde hair. She was her own person and Savanah made sure everyone knew. Savanah didn't normally ride Mariana and the mare was nervous underneath of her. The crowd and other horses didn't help. A stallion walking by the ring whinnied causing the mare to flinch and step sideways almost knocking Jack over with her small head. He patted her neck and whispered sweet nonsense in her ear while waiting for Savanah to finish checking the saddle's girth. With a final tug the black saddle sat balanced on her back. The silver tooling shone brightly in the outdoor sun. 
    Jack and Savanah walked in pleasurable silence to the show ring. It wasn't very often that he got to join her on show day with his work hours increasing. Slowly but surely they would be able to afford the wedding of Savanah's dreams. He looked at her and smiled and she grinned back. Savanah was toying with the reins in nervousness and Jack grabbed her hand as they walked to still it. They arrived at the outdoor arena. The massive barn stood next to them the dark wood a large contrast between the green grass and the blue sky. With a squeeze of her hand, and a good luck peck on the cheek, Jack left Savanah to sit in the crowd and cheer her on. No matter what place Mariana and Savanah came in; it was a beautiful day and they were going to enjoy it.
