Creature from GURPS Aliens.

The Irari are a race of winged bipeds standing about five and a half feet tall. Their wingspan is about 10 feet. They are known for their insatiable curiosity. An Irari always needs to know what's going on, why, for how long, and when it might happen again. They are renowned in the galaxy as scientists and explorers, but are equally renowned for their recklessness. An Irari will work on a research project for days without rest, and there have been cases of Irari working themselves literally to death.
